Doing Bond on Bond Street

Fans of Ian Fleming’s 007 should make haste to Sotheby’s in London, where a wide range of exciting Bond related items are currently installed across the galleries. Following the viewing exhibition, the 123 lots will be sold in an online auction celebrating 60 years since James Bond first hit the big screen.

Treasures up for grabs include a complete collection of Ian Fleming’s books, including four exceptional presentation copies from Fleming to his close friends, as well as first editions, proof copies and books signed by on screen Bonds including Roger Moore and George Lazenby. Also offered are early posters from the films, rare photographic stills from the sets, props, memorabilia and an Aston Martin DB5 presented for private treaty sale by RM Sotheby’s.

Whether you’re planning to bid in the sale or not, this is a rare chance to see the very best of Bondiana on the market. The exhibition is free, so get thee to Sotheby’s pronto.
