Doing Frieze London 2023

Frieze London 2023, bigger, better, and longer than any previous iteration, has attracted cultural enthusiasts from around the world to descend upon the city. As Frieze commemorates its 20th anniversary, this landmark event is celebrated through an extensive programme of events. It spans from the well-established heavyweights like El Anatsui, Frans Hals, and Ai Weiwei at Frieze Masters to more eclectic offerings, such as Sprüth Magers’ Hyun-Sook Song retrospective and White Cube’s Mona Hatoum exhibition. With participation from over 160 galleries representing 46 countries, the art world convenes from 11 October – 15 October.

It’s not merely an assembly of art enthusiasts; it’s a global art extravaganza. Leading galleries from 46 countries present their finest works, uniting in a celebration of boundless creativity. And it’s not confined to the fairs alone – anticipate a multitude of captivating on-site and citywide programs that highlight London’s rich cultural diversity. These events serve as dynamic meeting points where art, ideas, and people from across the globe converge, fostering creativity and connections. Bravo to Artistic Director Eva Langret and Director Nathan Clements Gillespie. London truly is creating.
