This August sees the return of the charity’s annual exhibition with Hauser & Wirth, featuring the likes of Alvin Kofi, Victoria Cantons, Richard Wentworth, Valerie Asiimwe Amani, Giles Deacon, all wrapped in the stars of Sutapa Biswas’ ‘And all around me, my gathered star’, 2022, a mural original made for Springfield University Hospital.

Set up seven years ago by artist Tim A Shaw and curator Niamh White, the Charity is on a mission to change the face of mental healthcare and ensure every person within mental health services has access to high-quality creative and cultural experiences. Hospital Rooms has commissioned world-class artists such as Anish Kapoor, Sonia Boyce, Julian Opie, Yinka Ilori and Cerith Wyn Evans to work with service users and staff and radically re-envision what clinical mental health spaces can be.

Join the journey as Hospital Rooms and Hauser & Wirth aim to raise £1m over three years to support the vital work of Hospital Rooms in NHS mental health services – the exhibition runs until 12 September and will culminate in a live auction at Bonham’s on 12 September.
