Objects Monica Vinader x Kate Young Gemstone Striped Medium Hoop Earrings

Steal the spotlight with this pair of gold and black onyx earrings from Monica Vinader and Kate Young, the New York-based stylist whose celebrity clients include Selena Gomez, Sienna Miller and Dakota Johnson. Harnessing her years of red-carpet styling experience, Young has teamed up with the British jeweller on a new capsule collection that harmoniously combines Hollywood glamour with vintage cool and shapes inspired by modernist architecture and sculpture. The result is a timeless range of rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces that will elevate any day-to-night look. The bonus? It’s all relatively affordable thanks to the use of vermeil, a thick layer of 18k solid gold on sterling silver, that gives the look and feel of solid gold jewellery without the price tag. The Wick Culture - Mulberry x Paul Smith Pigment Blue Antony Clip Bag

Mulberry x Paul Smith Pigment Blue Antony Clip Bag

The hottest collaboration of the season? Mulberry and Paul Smith’s new capsule collection comprising 10 unisex Antony bags (including two new silhouettes) made of carbon-neutral leather. Each bag falls into one of two categories: the first group features black heavy-grain leather and Smith’s signature stripe webbing straps; the second features colour-block exteriors, dual-colour straps and Mulberry’s signature Postman Lock hardware.

The new Antony Clip Bag falls into the latter. This small cross-body favourite with detachable strap combines Mulberry’s premium calf leather with the colourful character of Paul Smith. The eye-catching blue and coral tones will add a welcome splash of colour to autumn dressing, while the metallic poppers on the back mean it can be worn on a belt or a strap.

The Wick Culture - Object Luna Luna by André Heller

Object Luna Luna by André Heller

Luna Luna by André Heller
£40

In 1987, the Viennese artist André Heller launched the world’s first art amusement park where the rides and attractions were designed by acclaimed contemporary artists, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Salvador Dalí. Luna Luna, as it was called, was shut down shortly afterwards but it was lovingly revived in 2022 by Heller and a global team of Luna Luna enthusiasts including his musician son and the megawatt rapper Drake.

In addition to the original 1987 rides and attractions, the reimagined art carnival features a selection of new amusements spanning art, music, food and more. Freshly translated from German to English, this reissue of the original Luna Luna book includes an updated preface by Heller, imagery and commentary around the creation of the original carnival experience as well as a special enamel Luna Luna bookmark. Flick through and you’ll see images of Haring at work, Sonia Delaunay’s vibrant entrance archway and Kenny Scharf’s Wave Swinger Ride. It’s a wonderful deep dive into a time gone by.

The Wick Culture - Object The List by Yomi Adegoke

Object The List by Yomi Adegoke

The List by Yomi Adegoke
£12

The List is the book of the summer. The debut novel from podcaster and journalist Yomi Adegoke was an instant Sunday Times bestseller and has already been snapped up for a TV adaptation with Adegoke as executive producer. It tells the story of Ola and Michael, a young, Insta-famous Black couple who are soon to be married, in the days following the publication of the List, a roll call of men working in the UK media who have been identified as sexual abusers and predators. Not surprisingly, the List goes viral. As a feminist journalist, Ola would usually be the first to support such an exposé — except this time, Michael’s name is on it. Cleverly plotted with complex main characters, The List deftly explores the dark side of social media, online influencers and cancel culture. Described by Paula Hawkins as ‘impossible to put down’, it is essential summer reading. Add to basket now.
