Since then, the Milan-based label has reproduced the iconic design on other handbags including the Binder Clip Bag and the bucket tote bag all in various colourways. Patron of Art Homage to Peggy Guggenheim Limited Edition 888 Mont Blanc Fountain Pen
£8,000

As summer begins to wind down, London gears up for another jam-packed season of events, openings, launches and parties. Keep your diary up to date with this limited edition 888 fountain pen, Mont Blanc’s homage to the legendary art collector Peggy Guggenheim. The pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by her modern art collection, while the straight shape of the cap, barrel and clip are inspired by the geometric lines of the Art Deco movement. Look closely at the cap ring and you’ll see engraved lion heads, a nod to the decorative lions found at the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, Peggy’s former residence on the Grand Canal. The nib design, meanwhile, features dog paws which recall those of her 14 beloved Lhasa Apso dogs. It’s time to plan for September in style.
