Now’s your chance to snap up work by recent graduates before their prices soar. Curated in collaboration with The Bomb Factory Art Foundation, the latest Art on a Postcard Mini Auction features 100 postcard-sized masterpieces, with all sale proceeds going towards The Hepatitis C Trust and The Bomb Factory Art Foundation, which helps arts and education to flourish in the local community. There are works by Serena Huang, Liam Fallon, Turner Prize Winner Mark Wallinger and Oli Epp, whose 2017 Whistleblower painting recently reached over 10 times its estimate at Phillips. Of all the lots up for grabs, we’re particularly taken by Freya Tewelde’s bight, bold landscapes, Henry Coleman’s photographs and Farnaz Gholami’s Night Pool. Happy bidding!

Swing by the Gagosian shop in London’s historic Burlington arcade to glimpse the short but sweet Richard Prince takeover. The American painter has taken over the shop on occasion of his solo exhibition at Gagosian in New York. Included in the shop presentation are the artist’s books, posters, and other merchandise, with a special selection from the Katz + Dogg line created by Prince in collaboration with Darren Romanelli. Upstairs, you’ll find a recent Prince painting and selected ‘High Times’ drawings from 2019 that have never been exhibited before. We’re looking to new book Richard Prince: Hoods, 1988–2013, which is available here ahead of its official release by Fulton Ryder in June 2022.

Both author and photographer, Chrysanthos Panas and Katerina Katopis, explored the region by boat to capture each island’s unique sense of history, tradition and adventure. Objects Courts and Fields 4 by Ishkar

Ishkar provides an ethical online marketplace for artists, photographers, designers and makers in war-torn countries like Afghanistan, Yemen and Pakistan. Established in 2016 by Edmund Le Brun and Flore de Taisne, who met in Kabul while working with the NGO Turquoise Mountain, Ishkar sources some of the best design and craft objects that these countries have to offer. ‘We need to tell stories of places like Afghanistan that aren’t just about bombs and what you can read in the headlines,’ de Taisne once said.

Today Ishkar offers everything from earrings and cuff links to tableware and rugs, all made by highly skilled artisans whose traditions are now in danger of dying out. Turning heads this season is a collection of five limited-edition carpets, designed by British artist Christopher Le Brun and handmade by a team of weavers in northern Afghanistan. Courts and Fields 4, seen here, is our favourite of the five delightful, abstract designs.

Camille Miceli’s first collection for Pucci, titled ‘La Grotta Azzurra’, is full of jubilant colour and pattern. Taking inspiration from the sun-drenched island of Capri, the Parisian designer — who was appointed artistic director of Pucci last September — has reimagined the house’s iconic motifs to create elegant, playful pieces that embody the holiday joie de vivre. Expect fluid materials, enlarged florals and lots of swirling colour. If you’re after a statement-making dress this summer, look no further than Miceli’s maxi kaftan.
