For this week’s special edition Culturally Curious Hop, The Wick met with Metaverse Artist and Cultural Leader Krista Kim at Outernet, the largest digital exhibition space in Europe, where Kim has a new exhibition titled ‘Continuum.’

Presented by TAEX and coinciding with London Digital Art Week, ‘Continuum,’ which was previously shown at The World Economic Forum transforms digital screens into spaces for mindfulness.

Featuring 10 unique segments inspired by the Ryōan-ji Temple Garden in Kyoto, Kim’s work consists of subtle gradients that shift over time, creating tranquil scenes that bridge the digital and human worlds, Eastern philosophy and Western practice.

Kim’s signature technique of Techism incorporates various media such as digital software, light, video, glass, and plexi, exploring the concept of digital consciousness and its effects on human perception and communication.

‘Continuum Collection’ is a series of 10 NFTs that are unique segments from the whole artwork ‘Continuum.’ TAEX is a platform committed to conversations and commerce in digital art convening artists, curators and experts into one community both on and offline.
