The Wick List

Viewing Asteroid City

The master of capturing nostalgia, Wes Anderson, presents his latest creation at 180 Studios on the Strand. Inspired by his recent film of the same name, which debuted at Cannes this May, the Asteroid City exhibition transports visitors to a 1950s American desert town.

It’s your chance to get up close and personal with the film’s set design, props and other behind the scene secrets. Through sound bites from the film as well as interactive set installations, it successfully recreates the ambience of a southwestern desert town, complete with a small gas station and a telephone box. You’ll also have the opportunity to dine in the replica American dinner featured in the film — we highly recommend tucking into a stack of delicious fluffy pancakes. Head to 180 Studios for a sprinkling of Hollywood magic on your doorstep this summer.
