Viewing PAD London

Now in its 14th year, PAD London is one of the most eagerly anticipated design fairs. Situated in the heart of London’s historic Berkley Square in Mayfair, PAD London is the top fair solely dedicated to 20th century and contemporary design in the UK.

Taking cue from its sister fair PAD Paris, which was established in 1998, the London edition highlights the very best of modern, contemporary and historical design that the city has to offer. Expect eclectic mixes of authentic design pieces that illustrate changes in interests across time.

This year’s fair features 62 galleries, 21 of which are first-time exhibitors, across 8 disciplines from 23 different countries, remaining faithful to its reputation of exhibiting exciting and original design combinations. Highlights include Dutch design by Scandinavian art and design specialist Maria Wettergren; specially commissioned light fixtures by French artist Bernar Venet for gallerist Philippe Gravier; as well as young design talents from the likes of innovative Chinese designer Jie Wu exhibited by Gallery FUMI and the fantastical functional animal-shaped sculptures by Chilean designer Abel Cárcamo of 88 Gallery.
