Viewing Royal College of Art Postgraduate Show

Perhaps one of the most prestigious art schools in the world, whose halls once hailed the likes of Tracey Emin, David Hockney, James Dyson,  and Frank Bowling. This week the Royal College of Art (RCA) opens its doors to exhibit the work of its graduating students on the 45-week MA programme. Over 1,300 students are showing their work with a diverse array of specialities, including Ceramics & Glass, Painting, and Design Products. The mix of mediums creates an enthralling exhibition which quenches one’s thirst for creativity, creating new and surprising confrontations.

The exhibition showcases the creativity of emerging artists, architects and designers as the show provides an insight into RCA’s diverse representation of talent. Featuring an international and dynamic student cohort from the Schools of Architecture, Arts & Humanities, Communication, Design and the Intelligent Mobility Design Centre, the exhibition offers a unique insight into the ideas and practices nurtured at the RCA.

Come and listen to the graduates and learn more about the ideas behind their works as the RCA puts on a programme of events, including workshops, talks and guided tours. These live events provide a special opportunity to hear from these emerging artists and designs. The physical exhibition will also be accompanied by a digital platform which allows access to an international audience. Not to be missed, who knows where these budding talents might be in the future.

The exhibition takes place in Battersea and Kensington in addition to another exhibition at the Truman Brewery of the two-year postgraduate students from 13-16 July.
