Could this be the most idyllic gathering? The Fari Islands Festival returns to the Maldives bringing culture, conversation and high-gloss hospitality to one of the Indian Ocean’s most beautiful settings. Taking place across Patina Maldives and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives the three-day festival gathers artists, chefs, musicians, wellness practitioners and conservation experts to celebrate island living.
This year’s headliner is Rosamund Pike, the award-winning actress and humanitarian. Ahead of the opening, Pike will host a charity dinner in her role as Ambassador for MAG, the Mines Advisory Group. No slouch, she will give a solo address on creative expression, lead a guided meditation in partnership with Lumenate and test her culinary metal with a Maldivian cooking class.
The line-up dovetails design, music and ocean life. Streetwear and sustainability guru Sean Wotherspoon, best known for his Nike Air Max 1/97 collaboration has designed the official festival merch. Sébastien Tellier closes the festival with a piano set, while DJ FS Green and NOTEP are on the late-night decks. On the culinary front, WAGYUMAFIA joins Michelin-starred chef Samuel Lee of Parisian bistro SENsation. Education? Marine conservation is folded into the offer with Olive Ridley Project x Dive Butler ocean excursions. Take the plunge!
