Ruinart has teamed up with Danish artist Jeppe Hein for the 2022 edition of its Carte Blanche project, an initiative established in 2017 to raise awareness around the Maison’s creative legacy. Titled ‘Right Here, Right Now’, Hein’s carte blanche commission invites visitors to embrace the moment and engage with all their senses through mindful participation. In addition to the physical installation, which has appeared at Ruinart’s partner art fairs around the world, there is a digital iteration which viewers can explore from the comfort of their own home. ‘I want to inspire people with something they’re not used to, to try to open up their boundaries and hearts, to let them feel more freedom,’ Hein has said.
